Gold Trail Cave Dweller is a fantasy creature I design.

The Gold Trail Cave Dwellers are Monotremes (egg laying mammals) that usually live deep inside cave. They lack eyes because they live in areas too dark for them to be useful. On each side of its face are two tiny pits. One set of pits are heat-sensing organs like the type found in most rattlesnakes which this helps them to hunt their prey. The other set of pits detects metals by electromagnetic induction. The metals they find are usually used by the males to build their nest to attract females. Females usually pick the male with the most metal in the nest to mate with. Then they both will take care of the young. Because they could sense metal many gold miners would use them to try to find gold. Their front teeth help them to dig into the rocks and make tunnels. And its four big ears are use to hear for prey and for other predators that that wander the cave and also to help them get around by making small chirps for Echolocation. Many of these creatures were kept as pets because many people believe that they brought good luck. As pets they are very friendly and liked to sit on peoples shoulder. The larges they are known to grow to was about a size of a ferret. They eat mostly bugs, rodents, lizards, and small cave fish.

Which my pet (character) of this type of creature is named Xanti. I will probable draw more pics of him soon.
